REGIS is a driving safety and performance improvement app. It features advanced, multi-category, detailed scoring with analytics to provide both positive and remedial feedback.
Users can register their account to start recording their driving performance and compare with a defined standard, with their own daily commutes, or try to beat their own highest scores. Drivers are able to see on a map where their driving deviated from the standard as well as see summary and trend information. Reliant General Insurance aims to improve driver safety nationally, and intends to offer incentives for those who modify their driving behavior as a result of this platform.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Several features actively manage battery use including autostart and autostop to reduce the effort involved in recording your driving behavior, combined with intelligent mobile device state monitoring to ensure the least amount of battery is used when not actively recording data or in a driving mode.
